The project
On the Palm the frontage is the asset, and the plan spends it carefully: living, dining and the kitchen are laid out in one continuous run along the glazed elevation, so every principal room takes the light and the view rather than a corridor. The entrance is kept short and deliberately closed — tall oak panels and a slatted screen — so the release into the open plan lands harder.
The palette is warm and restrained: oak in full-height panels and joinery, pale stone floors, dark metal in the kitchen island and frames, and an amber-lit display wall that marks the centre of the living room. Furniture is low and pale against it. Ceilings are kept plain with recessed linear light, so the room is read through its surfaces and the water beyond them, not its fittings.
“The frontage is the asset, and the plan spends it carefully.”
