The house stretches along its plot rather than rising off it. Living spaces gather behind a deep loggia on the garden side, where the roof plane oversails to shade both the glass and the terrace beneath, and the pool is pulled out to the full width so the water reflects the elevation back into the rooms.

The lighting was designed with the architecture rather than after it: concealed linear light traces the soffits and horizontal edges, planting is uplit to give the garden depth once the sun goes, and interior warmth spills out through the full-height glazing. In daylight the house is calm and pale; at night it becomes a sequence of lit horizontal planes.
